The Audex® LightLink Infrared TV Listening System is a versatile, effective listening device for television, radio, and other audio entertainment systems. This could be your answer to blaring TV's, missed punch-lines, and general frustration with your or your family's ability to enjoy television together. The Audex LightLink Home TV Infrared System features a small transmitter that sits discretely on your TV, beaming infrared to every corner of your living room. Unlike most brands, ours provides a tiny remote microphone that can be placed over the TV speaker to pick up the sound. This makes it compatible with any television whether at home or traveling in a motel. We even offer a travel case option for those who travel frequently. If you prefer to plug directly from the TV into the transmitter, an RCA jack is provided on the back for that purpose. The receiver provides high quality sound using lightweight headphones, or optional earbuds, direct audio input, speakers, or power transducer buttons. The receiver with the LL-HS-1 system even has a built-in neckloop in the neckstrap. This eliminates having to buy a neckloop accessory and put up with the extra wires hanging around your neck. The receiver is powered by two AA alkaline or optional nicad rechargeable batteries. Charging is performed outside the unit. Battery life on alkaline batteries is an amazing 150 hours.
